WebWanganui is very pretty, but a bit remote. Hamilton is the most developed in terms of sports, arts, theatre, etc, but it is also (IMHO) a bit of a dump. Saying that it is convenient for weekend breaks to lots of places. Hastings would be OK to work, but not to live.
